Had a fabulous stay at Moira! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast options were endless, and the family who runs it truly makes you feel at home. Just a bit humid in the room, but that’s Kolkata for you! Totally recommend it!

A delightful homely atmosphere

The Moira offers beautifully decorated, spacious rooms. The family running it is incredibly hospitable, always ready to help with arrangements, and provide delicious home-cooked meals. Breakfast was a standout, with fresh options like idli and dosa. The location is fantastic, surrounded by shops and easy access to transport.

The TV channels were limited, and while the room was comfortable, the kettle had tea stains which could have been better cleaned. some might feel the decor is overly personal, with numerous family photos around.

The comfortable bench seat in our room made for a nice relaxation spot. Great balcony view added a bit of charm to the surroundings.

The initial room felt quite misleading based on online photos—really below expectations. Shower curtains looked filthy and the overall cleanliness left something to be desired. it felt like we intruded on a personal space rather than a welcoming stay.

I was blown away by the warm hospitality! The spacious King Room was a treat, immaculate and modern. Breakfast was abundant and varied—local dishes were a highlight. The friendly staff were always eager to accommodate requests. Its central location made exploring so easy. Definitely a gem worth visiting!

The penthouse suite was a total win! Super spacious with a fantastic terrace. The decor was really lovely, giving it a cozy vibe. But, the mattress was pretty hard, not the best for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was fun with other guests, though it’s definitely best to ask for the best local spots! Just remember the location is a bit tricky to find, thanks to a lack of signs. But once you’re there, it’s a pretty chill stay!
